Kaleidoscope
My second band "Kaleidoscope" was a trio of DC-based musicians who explored sonic textures through improvisation with a diverse palate spanning jazz, latin, funk, and contemporary grooves. This project's unique sound was a product of original compositions and electronic experimentation set in the spirit of the moment. From 2013-2019, I maintained a weekly residency at the venue "JOJO" in Washington DC where I was able to develop a group sound and refine my compositional process, writing over 300 originals and arrangements. In 2018, I created a two-week art installation at Dupont Underground (https://dupontunderground.org/) that featured my digital art projected on the walls of the venue as well as a live performance on the opening night. The music created during this period paved the way for my future project INTROVERSION.
